Simplifying E-Resources Workflows with G Suite for Education

Abstract
As the Discovery Services Librarian, I manage the life cycle of electronic resources which includes access, discovery, assessment and problem resolution. Adoption and development of new workflows is essen- tial to the success of this newly created position. Although there are many tools available to assist with workflow management, I focused on those that were user-friendly, free of charge, and meshed well with our current systems. The University of Dayton was already using G Suite for Higher Education for email and productivity services so I decided to take advantage of these tools and apply them to electronic resources workflows. This article describes some of the solutions we developed.
