Abstract

This presentation describes a multidisciplinary approach to building sustainable research agendas. The Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training program involves community outreach, interprofessional education (IPE) for faculty and students, and supports multiple research and experiential learning projects simultaneously. We will describe how we designed the program, assigned and track roles and responsibilities, train students on IPE skills, and work collaboratively to address mental health workforce shortages in the region while building sustainable research infrastructure.
