Abstract

One of the primary objectives of this policy revision is to consolidate similar but disparate policies into one cohesive and universal policy applicable to all students. The proposed policy supports the recruitment and retention of students with transfer credit and transfer students while also providing clear guidance regarding what is or is not permissible for traditional students seeking "guest student status." This ensures that all students are treated equitably under a single, transparent framework.

The proposed policy ensures that students receive a substantial part of their education at the University of Dayton while maintaining flexibility for transfer students. It aligns with best practices, simplifies enforcement, and upholds the integrity of a University of Dayton degree.
