Abstract
In Spring 2024, the Academic Affairs Committee (AAC) of the College of Arts and Sciences forwarded a proposal to the Executive Committee of the Academic Senate (ECAS) to establish a Neuroscience undergraduate co-major, submitted by the Department of Biology. This proposal also included recommended language to define undergraduate co-majors for inclusion in the College of Arts and Sciences Academic Catalog. Additionally, the AAC advised that the Academic Senate review and approve each co-major proposal to ensure clarity and consistency.
Appendix A: DOC 2025-17 Minor revision to the Undergraduate Co-Major Policy (November 21, 2025)
The Academic Policies Committee was charged by ECAS to consider a minor revision to the language of the co-major policy, approved by the Senate in the Spring of 2025. The committee reviewed and recommended approval of the requested changes
