Abstract
The University of Dayton Nursing Program prepares students to practice as Baccalaureate generalist nurses through a rigorous and transformative liberal arts and sciences curriculum in concert with nursing courses that are in alignment with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials. Upon completion, students earn a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN), are eligible to take the NCLEX (RN licensure exam), and are prepared to transition to practice as a licensed registered nurse.
