Description
Plastic doll wearing a habit typical of the Sisters of Saint Francis of Perpetual Adoration, which was founded at Olpe, Germany in 1863 by Mother Maria Theresia Bonzel. An American branch was established in 1875 at Lafayette, Indiana. Mount Alverno in Mishawaka, Indiana is the hub of the American province. The doll is wearing a pair of glasses, brown dress, brown scapular, and black veil with a white wimple and white collar. A metal medal is pinned to the front of her scapular. She is wearing a white rope belt, and a black rosary is hanging from her waist.
