Description
Plastic doll is wearing a habit worn by the Benedictine Sisters of Saint Martin Monastery. The order was founded as an independent order in 1937 in New Providence, the Bahamas. In 1963 they joined the Benedictine order through an affiliation with Saint Benedict's Convent in St. Joseph, Minnesota. They once again became an independent monastery in 1994. The doll is wearing a light gray dress, light gray veil, and white wimple. A metal cross hangs from a black cord around the doll's neck. A rosary hangs from the doll's waist.
