Description
Plastic doll is wearing habit typical of the Sisters of the Precious Blood, which was founded by Mother Maria Anna Brunner in Switzerland in 1834. They came to the United states in 1844 to serve German Catholic immigrants, and had a strong presence in Dayton, Ohio. The doll is wearing a gray habit with a white wimple and black veil, and a metal crucifix is hanging from a red ribbon around her neck.
