Plastic doll is wearing a habit worn by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul. This order was founded byen a group of sisters from the Emmittsburg Sisters of Charity established a mission in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1849. The doll is wearing a black dress, black scapular, black veil, and white collar and coif.
