Description
Plastic doll is wearing a habit worn by the Oblate Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. This order was founded by Father Sylvester Eisenman with the assistance of Saint Katherine Drexel in Marty, South Dakota, in 1935. The order initially only accepted Native American women; this requirement was discontinued in 1955. The doll is wearing a gray and black habit with black veil and white wimple. A metal crucifix hangs from a metal chain around the doll's neck.
