Why the honoree chose the book

At one of my first academic conferences in Washington, D.C., I heard Len Burman speak on tax policy. It was a transformational moment for me as I realized that tax research extends far beyond the tax code to economics and social behavior. His presentation served as a catalyst for my research on tax whistleblowing.
