Abstract

Though the majority of Robert Mellin's life was dedicated to engineering, he took on an extensive project to create and present programs on popular melodic music composers to Dayton retirement communities. Mellin collected 10,000 pieces of sheet music from 20th-century composers. His collection resides in University of Dayton Archives.
