Abstract

"Though the song was composed nearly a century ago, its metaphorical meaning may still hold true today for why America is considered the land of opportunity." Student employee Edward Perez '18 shares his thoughts on the popular 1918 song "Everything is Peaches Down in Georgia," found in the Robert C. Mellin Sheet Music and Programs Collection, part of UD Archives.
