Description
At the top of the card is the Baby Jesus sleeping on a bed of hay. In the center of the card is a quotation in French from Father Leonard Goffiné (1648-1719), a German priest. Below the quotation is a bouquet of pink roses, with grass and leaves visible in the background. Printed on the back of the card are three translations of a prayer for obtaining a plenary Indulgence near death, in English, French, and Italian. The back of the card has the imprimateur permissions from the Archdiocese of Marianapoli (Montreal, Canada) and Auxiliary Bishop Zotique Racicot; the prayers were likely printed there onto cards imported from France.
