Description

Catholic holy card celebrating priesthood from the Auguste Martin collection. The card features imagery of a priest celebrating the Eucharistic prayer, hearing confession, and administering the Eucharist. These scenes are surrounded by images of grapes and wheat, angels in heaven, and an angel reaching out to people in Hell; the card has a lacework border. The back of the card contains a prayer by Jean-Jacques Olier, founder of the Sulpicians; part of the text is obscured.
