Description
Black and white portrait of the Virgin Mary with her hands clasped in prayer. Three lilies are in front of her. The back of the card has an inscription memorializing the death of Father Joseph Reiner, a Jesuit priest and Moderator of the Chicago Inter-Student Catholic Action (CISCA) organization, on October 14, 1934. The inscription includes a prayer, a quotation from Saint Ignatius, and the Imprimatur of Cardinal Mundelein of Chicago and the Nihil Obstat of Auxiliary Bishop Bernard J. Sheil, verifying that the prayer on the card is without doctrinal errors. The card was printed by an unknown publisher.
