Description
Jesus, holding a staff in his left hand, is knocking on a wooden door to a stone building with his right hand. Vines and trees are visible in the background. The back of the card has an inscription memorializing Father J. Kilian Schott, a priest in Evansville, Indiana who passed away on September 13, 1930. The inscription includes a prayer for the repose of his soul. This card was published by the B. Herder Book Company of Saint Louis, Missouri, but was printed in Germany.

Kilian Schott Pastor of St. Anthony Church Evansville, Indiana. Born May 6, 1861, Ordained June 19, 1886, Died September 13, 1930. Prayer. O God, who didst raise Thy servant Kilian to the dignity of a priest in thy Apostolic Priesthood, grant, we beseech Thee, that he may be admitted to the eternal fellowship of Thy Apostles in heaven.
