Memorial card marking the death of the Right Reverend Mathias Mary Gerend, a domestic prelate and rector of the St. John's Institute for Deaf-Mutes in St. Francis, Wisconsin. The front of the card has a photograph of Father Gerend and a prayer for the repose of his soul. The back of the card has biographical information about Gerend. Both sides have a purple border.
