Description

Image of the Scourging from the Passion of Christ. Jesus, wearing white linens, stands at a marble pillar. Two Roman soldiers scourge him with whips, while two other soldiers look on. Below the image is a quotation from Father Frederick William Faber. The back of the card is blank. This card was printed by Maison Bouasse-Lebel and their subsidiary Lecène & Companie sometime between 1907 and 1924.

Transcription

Jesus scourged at the pillar. The Precious Blood is the proof of Jesus' love for us. (Fr. Faber.)
