How We Roll follows Quinn, a girl with alopecia, and Nick, a double amputee after a football accident, who form an unexpected connection. As they navigate high school, identity, and shifting friendships, their bond challenges common misconceptions surrounding disability and self-worth. By the employment of acceptance and humility, readers are encouraged to look beyond physical differences and see people for who they truly are.
