Reliquary containing earth from the grave of Saint Martin de Porres and earth from the house of Saint Rose of Lima. Saint Martin de Porres (1579-1639) was a brother in the Dominican order, and is the patron saint of interracial harmony. Saint Rose of Lima (1586-1617) is known for her care of the sick and needy, and was the first person born in the Americas to be canonized.
