Description

A white dove holds a silver olive branch in its beak. In the background of the dove is a silver cross and a wreath of ivy. A silver crown is above the bird. At the bottom of the card is a skull and crossbones. The front of the card also features a verse from the Book of Revelation. The back of the card has an inscription memorializing Father P.B. Knox, a priest in Madison, Wisconsin who passed away on January 29, 1932. The inscription features a photograph of the Very Reverend Knox and a prayer for the repose of his soul. This card was printed in Germany by the Diederich-Schaefer Company, and sold by their American branch in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

O God, who among apostolic priests hasts adorned Thy servant departed, with the sacerdotal dignity, grant, we beseech Thee, that he may be associated with them in everlasting fellowship.
