Description
“The problems that exist in the world today cannot be solved by the level of thinking that created them.” (Albert Einstein). In this spirit, participants are invited to entertain ideas and best practices that are moving learning into a new dimension. As technology becomes increasingly more sophisticated, Catholic educators face students who are becoming digitally enhanced persons. Marc Prensky is calling it a kind of ‘digital wisdom’. We will explore what contribution a Catholic imagination brings to this conversation. How is this expanding reality opening innovative portals for conceiving new learning environments that ignite our students imaginations and abilities to conduct deeper analyses? What impact does this offer on how we think about Catholic education today?
