Abstract
One of the many challenges of the employee assistance professional is helping persons working or living in environments characterized by uncertainty and rapid change. An emerging helping model is presented that combines organizational scenario planning and concepts related to panic response. This approach provides therapists with a fresh perspective and framework for understanding and processing employee struggles.
