Abstract
The Environmental Justice panel is composed of regional and state environmental justice activists, specialists, experts and practitioners who will share their perspectives, involvement, resources and knowledge regarding causes of and methods to address environmental injustice. Through stories, presentations, a Q&A and discussions with the audience, the panel will share leadership strategies they have used, community engaged approaches for grassroots activism and strategies for understanding and dismantling intersectional environmental and sociocultural issues. Funding, professional development and citizen organizing opportunities will also be shared.
