Abstract
Dayton-based portrait and editorial photographer Shon Curtis will present an artist talk and short workshop on his unique approach to portraiture. Curtis will stress the importance of building trust between photographer and sitter and how this bond reflects more largely in his approach to community engagement. In conversation with UD Associate Professor Glenna Jennings, Curtis will present works created in Dayton and demonstrate his skills in The HUB’s new lighting studio.
