Description
Porcelain doll wearing a habit typical of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, founded at Roanne, France in 1625 by Jeanne Chezard. The order established themselves in Brownsville, Texas in 1853. The doll is wearing a white dress, with a white wimple and white collar, a black veil, and a crimson scapular which has been embroidered with blue thread. She is wearing a black rosary at her waist.
