My main idea for this project is to illustrate the number of deaths during both pandemics. My idea focuses on giving the horrible numbers of deaths when the world stands unable to do anything in front of these pandemics and there is no way except taking preventive measures.
As known, we have different elements like digital (as Photoshop) and physical (as objects, drawing, and cutouts). My imagination has changed more than twice because I found better ideas. The final idea that I am working on is to take an idea from the infographics since my idea talks about the numbers; then I redesigned it to fit the requirements of this project as a collage. I am using newspaper clippings, hand drawings, ready pictures, and random stuff around me. I printed the newspapers, sorted them, cut them, took a picture of them, then uploaded them to the computer to make some edits and put them in my collage.
Another thing is drawing. I used my laptop screen to show the drawing; then I traced it on a paper. Next, I transferred it to a digital copy to use it in Photoshop.
After printing, I used the random objects to give a real effect to my collage; then I converted it to a digital copy to complete the process. I hope to leave the idea that we must do our best to take preventive measures to save humanity and the world from mass death.
