Why the honoree chose the book
Dr. Edgar is a graduate of our UD master's in music education program and the former band director at Carroll High School in Dayton. Scott's focus on social-emotional learning is timely, and his book is essential reading for all music educators. I am proud to know Scott as a mentor, colleague and friend.
