Abstract
Scholars have studied in depth the ideas of Saint Exupery, especially the structures that he judges essential for the establishment of the ideal civilization outlined in Citadelle. However, books and articles on the style of the aviator-writer are rare. It is my purpose to show how the images of Citadelle are synthesized in time and space to coincide with the essential acts that lead to the establishment of the proposed empire or ideal civilization.
