Abstract
The Dutch organization for men's studies is called Landelijke Werkgroep Mannenstudies, which can be translated as the National Society for Men's Studies. The LWM was formed during the international congress "Among men/Among women" held at the University of Amsterdam in the summer of 1983. LWM membership consists of graduates from and students in different fields of science. Most of them have done research or written papers on various aspects of men's studies.
