Biographical Information
(1948-2013) Reginald Evans majored in voice prrformance and conducting at St. Olaf College. In the Washington, D.C., area, Evans was a featured soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra, the Paul Hill Chorale, the Washington Choral Arts and Oratorio Societies, the Bach Consort, and many other choral groups. He also was a composer-in-residence at Austrian National Radio and was a soloist and artist at the Volksoper and the Bach Gesellschaft. During the 1970s, he lived in Vienna, became fluent in five languages, and appeared in concerts throughout Europe and the United States. Evans debuted in Carnegie Hall in 1981.
