Approaching the library for research help for the first time can sometimes be an intimidating prospect for our students — even more so for those from marginalized communities or those struggling with a sense of belonging on our campus. This presentation details ways Roesch Library's librarians attempt to extend a welcoming atmosphere of belonging to all students, primarily in the time before they even set foot into an office or classroom with one of us.
