About This Publication

Oncology Rehabilitation in Practice is an official editorial board reviewed publication of the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy (APTA Oncology), an academy of the American Physical Therapy Association. 

Oncology Rehabilitation in Practice aims to serve as a resource for practicing clinicians managing rehabilitative needs of patients living with and beyond cancer and other chronic health conditions.   

The mission of Oncology Rehabilitation in Practice is to advance clinical practice, promote collaboration among rehabilitation professionals, and bring information to all stakeholders with interests and expertise in oncology, lymphatic diseases, and immune system disorders.

Oncology Rehabilitation in Practice publishes articles pertaining to clinical practice as well as governance of APTA Oncology and corresponding Special Interest Groups (SIGs). Articles of interest to practicing rehabilitation professionals with expertise or interest in oncology, lymphatic diseases, or immune system disorders are acceptable. Articles may include research reports, literature reviews, case reports or case series, clinical perspectives or unique viewpoints, short summaries of recent or seminal research, product or technology reviews, or book reviews.
