Rivers Institute

The Rivers Institute, the flagship program of the Fitz Center for Leadership in Community, brings key partners in the greater Dayton community together to promote, preserve and protect the Great Miami River watershed. Students, faculty and staff work with community members, stakeholders and local organizations to promote learning, protect natural resources and foster undergraduate research. Students in the Rivers Institute are known as River Stewards.
