The Department of English is a lively community of faculty, staff, and students dedicated to the study of language and literature from rhetorical, creative, and critical perspectives. With three tracks (literature, writing, and teaching) and a wide selection of courses, the English curriculum allows each student flexibility to tailor a program of study to his or her interests and goals.

Faculty represent a broad range of interests and expertise and bring the passion and wisdom of their scholarly accomplishments into the classroom.
