Description

"Ungrading" is a modern method of grading that involves removing quantitative grades from a course (e.g., letters or numbers) for the purpose of increasing student ownership of learning and facilitating classroom belongingness and self-efficacy. In this session, I share my experiences with multiple strategies of ungrading in my courses and provide practical resources for other instructors interested in ungrading at small and large scales.
