Considering that I teach mostly first-year business courses, I intended for my DEI material to be simple and introductory in nature. My goal is to help students understand what is meant by DEI and why it is important, both from a social understanding perspective and from a business case perspective. Finally, I want them to recognize their role in developing equity and inclusion at UD.
