Editor's note: This paper was selected to receive the 2023 Father Jack McGrath, S.M., Award for Research in the Catholic Intellectual Tradition.
Having written this essay for my ASI 110 class, my writing process was a culmination of my analysis and comparison of two medieval works. In putting these texts in conversation with one another, I formed an argument to address how their contradictions can be reconciled.
