Writing Process
This long and arduous process began during the second week of classes when Dr. Rahman had us identify and describe an obstacle to the common good. I first thought about writing on wars and conflict, but later switched to something a little closer to home: relationships, namely how cell phones can impede our ability to form and maintain them. We were then tasked with writing a research proposal, an annotated bibliography, and a summary of peer-reviewed research. Through all of this, I looked over dozens of documents and articles learning all I could about cell phone addiction. I first created an outline (the longest one I ever had) before writing the first draft. Eventually, our rough draft was due and we did very beneficial peer reviews. A week later, after many revisions, our final draft was due!
