This special issue represents the culmination of a commitment of APTA Oncology to create a practical, rigorous, and educator-ready resource designed to help every physical therapist education program in the country prepare students to provide competent, confident, and compassionate care for people living with and beyond cancer. This Implementation Manual offers a structured curricular framework, clear learning objectives, instructional strategies, and guidance for integrating oncology content across didactic, laboratory, and clinical education in a deliberate and progressive way. It is designed for academic faculty developing or revising curriculum. It is also designed for clinical educators who want to reinforce and expand that learning in practice, and for clinicians who want to honestly assess and grow their own competence in this area.
