Call for Submissions

The second volume will be published in September 2024. The editorial board welcomes short papers, perspective essays, and reflective commentary (1,500-2,500 words including references), as well as full-length research and conceptual articles (up to 6,000 words including references) on topics related to the Forum:

  • How to authentically collaborate across academic and co-curricular boundaries in order to provide a holistic Marianist education
  • Exploring what authentic relationship-building means for students, faculty, and staff
  • Ways the University can effectively adapt and diversify our pedagogical practices through student-centered and experiential approaches
  • Achieving more inclusive, transparent, and equitable practices
  • Exploring effective relationship-building strategies and community-building practices for greater collective impact and equity
  • Understanding how transformative educational initiatives impact learning/teaching practices
  • Exploring sustainable professional learning opportunities that support the ongoing development of campus leaders across academic and co-curricular units and offices
  • Rediscovering and redefining the meaning of a holistic education in the Marianist spirit as we continue to bridge divides and cross boundaries for the common good
  • Engaging in dialogue around advising and experiential learning 

To submit an article, click "Submit Article" and follow the instructions provided. Cite sources using the Chicago Manual of Style citation format (more information available in a library guide). Submissions close Feb. 23, 2024. The editorial board will notify authors of decisions by March 11, 2024. If revisions are necessary, they will be due April 8.
